What is the Motherhood Experience?

Family is everything, and nothing has changed me more than being a mother. The joys, the stretching (literally), the sorrows, it has all shaped who I am today and who I am becoming. As Kevin and I embarked on growing our family, we experienced loss in our first pregnancy. Shortly after we experienced another miracle, being our first: Sophia. Our hearts were instantly in love, and 10 months later we would discover we were, in fact, expecting again. On my birthday a few weeks later, we lost our baby (3rd pregnancy). That same year, only 5 months later, we experienced yet another miscarriage. I felt so defeated, disappointed, and fearful. But the next year held many surprises for us...

In February 2019, we discovered we were in fact pregnant with our 2nd child (5th pregnancy): Noah. He has been the most amazing blessing and brings so much joy to all he meets. When the dust finally settled after Noah, we knew that we had one more child in our heart. God gave us Milo, our tender and cuddly mercy.

Why am I sharing all of this?

I LOVE what motherhood has taught me and I have been so grateful to pay tribute to as many moments as I can. Photography has been a beautiful way to do so.

It's my desire that you, your family, your children (however they came to you), have tangible memories to hold on to marking the many extraordinary moments of life.
